Barbara Dennerlein's professional accomplishments read as a lifetime award winner. She has garnered respect across the globe for the masterful command of her chosen instrument, the Hammond B3 organ. Her albums have won many honors, such as the German Record Critics Award. Her album Take Off (Verve/Universal) reached number 1 in the jazz charts and was the best-selling German jazz album of the year. She has graced the stage at many festivals worldwide, such as the Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, and Victoria jazz fests. She has also blown the doors off New York's prestigious Blue Note cafe. On It's Magic we have Dennerlein on the B3 with excellent drumming as an accompaniment.
