earBuzz Review:
Gary Seiler's 2002 CD, "Living on Dreams", is a 13 tune collection that flows as easily as fine tequila. Less ambitious than his latest, these tunes are straight ahead good-time Buffett-ish tunes that combine humor and heartache. Track 2 is laugh-out-loud funny as "Run Tourist Run" has the entire Atlantic region fleeing a hurricane. Track, 5, "Captain of My Ship", is an anthem for sailors everywhere. The long mp3, "Mexico", tells the tale of May trips south with fruit and a marguerrita life. Track 11, "Can't Let Her Go", is a forlorn tune about how 'love touches you and then goes, it's so hard on your soul when you can't let 'em (her) go'. The craft is absolutely solid - well done singer/songwriter tunes that have a home in any warm beach-front bar.
