Ken Kaufmann has put together 4 long and meditative relaxing compositions in his 3 CDs here. Two of the CDs are exactly the same, "Reflections of the World" and "Seasons of Tranquility" - take your pick, you'll be getting the instrumental versions of the pieces. The third CD, "Seasons of Serenity", take the Kaufmann penned tracks and adds the soothing voice of Kathleen Swann, who narrates a tapestry of relaxation with instruction and imagery based on the annual changing of the seasons.

In "Tranquility of Autumn", gentle key/bell stabs lie atop subtle string beds. Track 2, "Reflections of Winter", a piano tapestry is painted with the help of a gorgeous oboe - relaxing, soothing, and pure. "Showers of Spring" goes east, as the asian musical flavors wind through the mind and soul. "Serenity of Summer" features an arpeggiated bed of music that supports wooden block percussive melodies. There is no doubt that the music is used as the ambiance of massage and meditation environments. The record is unobtrusive, and, as the liner notes warn, 'may cause drowsiness". Nice stuff.
